The third project completed for this repeat client was repair works to a creche facility where there was flooding, and significant water damage caused by a broken tap running over a long weekend.
This project entailed the full strip out of floor finishes, joinery including skirting, architraves, storage, changing and kitchen units. Additionally, we removed all water damaged plasterboard to fire rated partitions. We then undertook the replacement of all aforementioned water damaged elements in addition to minor mechanical and electrical works. During the process, we installed temporary protection to floors.
These works were completed out of hours to allow the creche to continue their day-to-day operations with minimal disruption. This required careful coordination and ongoing communication with the client and extra safety precautions implemented to ensure a safe environment for the returning clients each day.
