Following the success of the project completed for this client at their premises in Hollywoodrath, Devoe Construction continued the relationship with their valued client and completed the full turnkey fit-out of a developer standard Shell & Core commercial unit for their new Carrickmines location. We transformed the empty shell into a warm , welcoming and fully compliant creche facility – the perfect environment to nurture children’s education and personal growth. This project was delivered with a meticulous focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and timely execution — key pillars in any early years environment.
This fit-out consisted of full mechanical services including heating, ventilation, plumbing and sanitary ware in conjunction with full electrical services including general power, lighting, emergency lighting, access control, fire alarms, security alarms and IT.
This project also entailed the installation of fire rated partitions, ceilings, joinery including fire rated doors, kitchens, classroom kitchenettes, changing facilities, floor finishes, full decoration including murals and an external padded astro turf play area and secure palisade fencing.
All of the works were completed in compliance with Disability Access Certificates, Fire Certificates & Building Control Amendment Regulations standards.
From layout planning to final finishes, every aspect of the fit-out was carried out in strict adherence to TUSLA’s Early Years Services Regulations. Our experienced team ensured that allmaterials, finishes, room configurations, and safety installations met or exceeded the standards required for operational approval. We worked in close consultation with the client andtheir regulatory liaison to ensure every detail aligned with TUSLA’s guidelines, ensuring a smooth path to registration and inspection readiness.
Child safety is non-negotiable, and we built with that in mind at every stage. We installed secure access systems, non-slip flooring, child-safe furniture, and custom-built fixed storageto keep classrooms tidy and hazard-free. Fire safety systems were upgraded to the latest standards, and all mechanical and electrical installations were tested and certified to ensure asafe, efficient environment for both children and staff.
